This PCB provides the interface between dimmable ballasts and the ProfiLux. The EVG-AP-2F also has onboard 0Volt switching, meaning, when the ballasts are reduced to their lowest voltage setting, the PCB detects this and automatically switches the power off to the lights, eliminating the need for an external timer.
